Inspiring and compassionate with class is what Donna J Rogers exemplifies. Born and raised on the southside of Chicago, IL, she is intentional about empowering others through Education and Real Estate.
Donna has over seventeen years of experience within the real estate industry in various capacities as an Investor, Instructor, Broker, Property Manager and Project Manager. Donna is the award-winning Managing Real Estate Broker and Owner of R’ Legacy Realty, a residential and commercial real estate brokerage in Illinois.
Additionally, she was an Adjunct Business Professor at Chicago State University before starting her own licensed real estate & business school: R’ Legacy Academy. Moreover, Donna has written curriculum for the Chicago Association of Realtors and is the author of a national & international real estate book for teens entitled: Who Got the Keys? Building Generational Wealth through Real Estate, which debuted at #1 on Amazon under the youth/young adults category and featured in NY Times Square on the Nasdaq billboard.

In 2018, Donna founded the John Rogers Real Estate Foundation, alongside her siblings and in honor of their late father who exposed them to real estate at an early age. The mission of the foundation is to increase the number of African Americans/Blacks within the real estate industry through education and funding.  As Donna endeavors to continue her family’s legacy through education and real estate, she aspires to help other families to do the same.

The rate of black homeownership is only 45%, the lowest amongst all races. The rate has been in the fourty percentile in 1968 when Fair Housing Act was enacted

While 87% of Non-Hispanic White homeowners attain homeownership before the age of 35, compared to only 53% of Blacks who become homeowners. As a result, Blacks have fewer years to build home equity relative to non-Hispanic White homeowners

To help increase the rate of  black homeownership and real estate professionals by exposing and

educating teens on the fundamentals of the real estate industry.

Help us make a difference:

A portion of the proceeds, for every 50th book purchased, will help provide scholarships to high school seniors

(ages 18+)  that want to become real estate agents.
